I was cleaning out the shed and found a 6 gal. tank of gas[not mixed] thats got to be a year and a half old.does anyone know how to dispose it safely.

take it to a mechanics shop. When I worked on cars they had a tank for oil changes and they would put oil or gas in there and it would be pumped and recycled.


Call a few places and see if they will take it. They might charge you something but they should take it.

Yep

Option #2 - I had a similar issue last year with fuel which had premix in it - about 60 gallons or so. This place id for RI residents - not sure if you are in RI or if not, what equivalency there is in your state

put it in the classifieds for 2.50 a gallon and when someone comes to pik it up, tell em due to yesterdays suicide bombings in Iraq, its gone up to 3.25 :hihi:

I actually thought of putting it at the end of my driveway with a sign "free gas" but i want the container back.
