I was cleaning out the shed and found a 6 gal. tank of gas[not mixed] thats got to be a year and a half old.does anyone know how to dispose it safely.

When I worked on cars they had a tank for oil changes and they would put oil or gas in there and it would be pumped and recycled. Call a few places and see if they will take it. Yep Option #2 - I had a similar issue last year with fuel which had premix in it - about 60 gallons or so.
