Baltimore's pitcher had a great game and I'm surprised he was pulled. But take every win as you can. It wasn't pretty. This team reminds me of the "Idiots" of 2004.

I agree afterhours, it's like how many men are left on base, good teams get the players on base, so they're bound to leave a good amount on.
I hope Beckett is ok, but the last time this happened to him, he wound up being a world series MVP. :bl: Well I"m not 100% sure on that stat, but our pitching has been awesome and we're 25 - 11 - the best record in MLB.

Sux to be the Oriole's manager right now.Pulling your pitcher (who's owned the Sox all day),with a 5-0 lead and one out in the bottom of the ninth.. :rotf2:

It wasn't like the Sox hit two shots off him either--one chopper to Tejada for an easy out, and a can of corn that went 200' up and 20' out that the catcher blew :rollem:

Had to be the dumbass move of the season so far

I have to admit, I turned it off in the ninth....pretty much thought they were done.

didn't even know that they won until I saw the news this morning.

walked down to the packy to refuel before tackling the laundry room and in the matter of 10 minutes all had changed :wall:

thought it was o v a, and if i had to hear joe costiglion and the new guy say finger contusion one more time... i swear they had a bet on who could say it more.

i dont think it looks at all like the 04 team... this time around there are no goof balls, and the calibur of playing seems much stronger.
