View Full Version : Red Sox today Squid kids Dad 05-13-2007, 04:21 PM WOW...What a 9th inning.......:bgi: PoPin Plug 05-13-2007, 04:22 PM omfg! great unbelivable.... and nobody can call say lugo hit the pitcher because he clearly misssed it.... BigFish 05-13-2007, 04:23 PM Great ninth huh Mike! Uncle Matt 05-13-2007, 05:20 PM Baltimore's pitcher had a great game and I'm surprised he was pulled. But take every win as you can. It wasn't pretty. This team reminds me of the "Idiots" of 2004. afterhours 05-13-2007, 05:25 PM wow- chit like this happens to good teams.:bounce: fishsmith 05-13-2007, 06:34 PM I agree afterhours, it's like how many men are left on base, good teams get the players on base, so they're bound to leave a good amount on. I hope Beckett is ok, but the last time this happened to him, he wound up being a world series MVP. :bl: Well I"m not 100% sure on that stat, but our pitching has been awesome and we're 25 - 11 - the best record in MLB. Mike P 05-13-2007, 07:44 PM Sux to be the Oriole's manager right now.Pulling your pitcher (who's owned the Sox all day),with a 5-0 lead and one out in the bottom of the ninth.. :rotf2: It wasn't like the Sox hit two shots off him either--one chopper to Tejada for an easy out, and a can of corn that went 200' up and 20' out that the catcher blew :rollem: Had to be the dumbass move of the season so far  The Dad Fisherman 05-14-2007, 07:06 AM I have to admit, I turned it off in the ninth....pretty much thought they were done. didn't even know that they won until I saw the news this morning. MrHunters 05-14-2007, 08:36 AM I have to admit, I turned it off in the ninth....pretty much thought they were done. didn't even know that they won until I saw the news this morning. walked down to the packy to refuel before tackling the laundry room and in the matter of 10 minutes all had changed :wall: thought it was o v a, and if i had to hear joe costiglion and the new guy say finger contusion one more time... i swear they had a bet on who could say it more. MrHunters 05-14-2007, 08:38 AM Baltimore's pitcher had a great game and I'm surprised he was pulled. But take every win as you can. It wasn't pretty. This team reminds me of the "Idiots" of 2004. i dont think it looks at all like the 04 team... this time around there are no goof balls, and the calibur of playing seems much stronger. taJon 05-14-2007, 08:59 AM that stuff just shouldn't happen. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
