Piscator 05-19-2007, 10:06 PM Hi there, This is my first post but I have been a member for a while. I was out on the South Shore this Wednesday (Plymouth/Duxbury area). Nice day in all with 26 fish on the incoming mid morning tide. 2 keepers at 29" and 30 1/2" (all fish released). Many of the fish had nice fat bellies and sand lice was covering some and not at all on others. My buddy was going to fish this morning in the same area but do not have a report yet.
reelwild 05-20-2007, 07:42 AM Fished the falling tide. Moving water = big fish. Biggest was a 36" & the fattest I've seen in quite a while. Coughed up two macs. Rain/drizzle picked up around 5:30. 3 1/2 hours fishing. 30+ fish. 3 legals
riverrat55 05-20-2007, 11:48 AM Thanks for your reports guys!!!
Moses 05-20-2007, 07:45 PM I launched out of Plymouth ~230pm today. Macks are out front in 60-75' of water but not in big numbers. Between three of us, we took ten in about an hour of jigging, all big too.
Brought them in to see if anything was interested but the weather just got to foul for us and we called it quits. A few twinkies a piece casting to working birds. I'd see this week we'll see big numbers.
blue oyster 05-21-2007, 11:41 AM thanks all , hopfully the wamer weather turns thing up a notch , hoping to chase macks for bait on friday :kewl:
it's been horrible. last week i hit the ledges and worked my way to the nw corner with 3 macks to show for my efforts. it's getting late and my freezer is empty - not good. going out tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
Christian 05-22-2007, 06:22 AM plenty of macks and bass in boston now!
BW from AZ 05-22-2007, 12:22 PM Thats good news to late. After 6 days of Hulls weather (rain, fog, rain, wind, rain, cold, rain,) and no fish. Just getting back in the rut at home. IE honey do list time. BW
blue oyster 05-22-2007, 07:32 PM :jump:  its about time, i was getting nervous , gonna hit it on friday , saturday , tuesday and if it rains monday
Moses 05-24-2007, 06:47 AM Anyone head out this week and have an update? Seems Christian found the in Boston the other day. Might head out this afternoon between Scituate and Plymouth and am wondering if they are still tere. Txs.
fishsmith 05-24-2007, 07:05 AM I wouldn't head out now without the needed christmas trees/sabikis, troll them around till you get em.
it's going to be hot so keep changing the water to keep the macks kickin.
I just got tomorrow off :jump1: Now how soon will I pierce my hand with a sabiki hook - I can't wait.
partsjay 05-24-2007, 07:21 AM I'll be out there in the next few days.....just put my Dad's boat last night in Plymouth so...won't be long
Moses 05-24-2007, 08:20 PM Same place this afternoon, 3-5 per rig every drift once you found them.
big jay 05-24-2007, 08:49 PM I fished for a couple of hours out in front of sandwich yesterday morning. Picked up about 50. Small scattered schools - slow pick. No touches on my livey.
At least I got a small start on my tuna bait.
Did get one steroid Mac- really should have snapped a pic, it was ridiculous.
