So today I was fishing at menemsha creek, with my 4 inch shad, as well as about 10 other people at the creek. No one was catching a thing except for one guy in the middle of the pack, who was catching a schoolie every single cast. Other people grouped up near him and casted their shad lures but didnt get anything. I couldnt make out what he was using. It looked like a dark green plastic 4 inch worm type of a thing. Anyone have a clue what the lure is?

I use the magic lure all the time it works great and yes like advertised it catches when nothing else does.

Yeah, but you gotta hold the rod upside-down.

You can get a little more creative than a rubber shad , think like fish and you can catch fish all day as long as they are there ...what are they feeding on at the time ..

maybe the guy was using a senko worm or something like that
spring schoolies want small bait sometimes, guess they weren't fooled by your shad bodies
He could have been using those dark green plastic sand worms, made by Exude, they look cool.
Might have been because it was dark green on a dark day when everyone else was throwing pearl...

Is dark green a good match for a dark day only, or is there something else to it? Any further hints would be much appreciated!

Cast over his line and reel in the 'secret lure'. Give it back of course. Then jump in the truck and head for the LTS.

I'm tellin' ya. It doesn't matter what ya use, hold the rod and reel upside down like the guy in the picture. You'll kill 'em.
