I dont usually do this but, I will make the exeption.(I should say I dont do this often).

Since john is going to be living 9 houses away I thought I would fill him in oon today's activities! Had over 100fish there today john,Bass and blues,They were there non-stop from 8am till 7pm I mean non-stop! Leslie took today off and even she got in on the action!! Ali was grabbing peanut bunker by the handfull out of the wash!! I have seen many blitzs in my time but, never ever one like this!! Bass up too 20lbs blues in the teens. It wasnt the fish that impressed me most! It was the BAIT!! I have never seen bait like this ever! Miles and miles of peanuts beaching themselves! You could have walked on it a mile out!! I thought they would use up all the oxygen in the water ,there were so many!! The beach is littered with carnige! The whole beach is covered with bunker!! I also had the opertunity to land some bass and huge blues with a fly rod ! It was a fun experiance to say the least! My freind steve let me use his longwand!! I have not been down there during the day much because I have my daughter at home but, the people down there say this has been happining everyday in some form for 2 weeks!! I was shocked at the size of the bass still in the bay!!

John you are going to be truly living on the road to paridise!! next fall all you will have to do is take a walk!! It was unreal today!! The best part is ,I have it all on vidio! What a tape it is!!

I wish I had been there yesterday to see (flat calm would have been better than working )... Yeh, right down the end of the street. Bill, next year if you drive by and don't have a rod, you'll go to the house, drop off Ali with Gwen, pilfer one of my rods and "Hit the Blitz"!!! Wow, blitzing like that 700 feet from my driveway!!! If the trees weren't in the way, I could get one of those 15 foot Breakaway distance rods and hit the fish from my deck .... Kidding...

Slipknot, Bill has seen those bait blitzes before but I think he means seeing 20 and 30 pound fish busting bait around his ankles and as far as he could see, looking them right in the eye!!! He has seen many blitzes but if this one stands out differently than the rest, it must REALLY have been something. When I talked to him on the phone last night, he said it was truly unbelievable!!! Unforunately, my DV editing computer has been packed for the move but I'll get his video and convert it to AVI for the site ....

Ah, yes... just a little stroll down to the end of my street. Now, can I consider this a "Private Prime Spot" where you all need my permission??? ... Naw, it's a public road!!!! 'Course, I don't know if I want ISPY to know where I live

I'm sure it was amazing, I also can't believe they did not use up all the oxygen. Sounds like you could have walked on them fish.
And to think they said pogies were in decline or is that just south of us. That is great, 20-30 lb. stripers were wolfing them menhaden, that is a treat to witness.
