I have been trying to watch fishing videos on YouTube recently and the video quality is just too grainy, does anyone have thoughts on what I might be doing wrong or another site that I could use that has higher video quality.

Not a youtube issue, the quality is dependent on the resolution of the original video source.

Hey there Cap'n! welcome
pretty much all video sites are like youtube, it all depends on the original upload.. but youtube is the most popular site, google video is becoming pretty popular also. but anyways, good luck with the videos!
