Take a razor blade and slide it right up the guide feet, it is actually pretty easy once you get the feel for it... labrax 06-01-2007, 06:20 PM Start at the inside of the wraps - where the reel feet are and work outwards toward the beginning of the wraps. You may just get them started and then peel them off - pick them off with a fingernail. Good luck - and don't let your wife get near your old glass blank, my wife launched a vacuum cleaner in my work area - future back bedroom last week pulling out some beach chairs. I picked the hoover upright off the blanks and noticed a rattle in one of them I recently stripped. Her little temper tantrum resulted in a split in the tip. :wall: MrHunters 06-03-2007, 02:40 PM thanks for the tips guys.. ill make sure they stay far away ;) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
