Ok, being in a fiberglass boat for the first time and dealing with pogie blood stains for the first time a far too long; I'm wondering what the best cleaners are for after the mess. I can't be bothered by cleaning off all the blood as I'm fishing, some I'll get to but I find that in the driveway I'm left with a fair amount of stains to deal with. What is the best bet for cleaning up that mess after the fact?

Soft scrub with bleach and a brush works on just about anything.

I second that...Soft Scrub with bleach and a plastic bristle brush works great for removing most stains...especially on diamond pattern non-slip surfaces.

Bleach in a spray bottle - esp for nonskid. Or, if you like to scrub or need to confine the application, soft scrub with bleach. Either way, it's the bleach doing the work.

Another vote for bleach, I also add a little dawn anti bact dish detergent. They sell a nice brush at Stop and Shop, its about 2' long and has green bristles, I thing it's for a toilet bowl, works pissa

I wash the boat ( the kid washes the boat) with a little simple green and some bleach. You won't believe how good it looks. It will whiten up your seats too.

2 cups of bleach and woodies wax soap in a bucket...

Smear Bluefish scales over them and the blood stains are virtually invisible....

Soft scrub and cleansers will wear away at the finish. Its kind of like cleaning up with sandpaper. If bleach will not handle it use MayKate's On and Off. Its an acid based cleaner/bleach that will damn near take anything off. Just don't get it on your metal of your skin.
