I got too used to dragging one leg along due to the rigid brace. I'm using the hinged one now but still limiting the bending movement. Sure it hurts but it's necessary. Then you'll be back to life, living and pleasure. It will take a while but it will, throw away the bad days and concentrate on the next one. The pain in rehab only means it's working.
