I was just thinking....hold onto my hat.....this roller coaster is headed downhill! Guess its the lifelong Red Sox fan in me.....but those Yankees....I have too much respect for the organization and their history to count them out in May/June....they are always a threat even from 12 games back! The "slow starters" need to realize the "start" ended about a month and a half ago!

Relax....They cant win every game..They are bound to have a slump every now and then...Take a deep breath and exhale....:smokin:

The pitching has been good......and you know the bats will be back, just a temporary slump

Last night should have ended it, but Wakefield gets run support like (insert analogy here)

They will be fine I believe.....I never count out the Yanks....it will be close, but the Sox have the pitching this year. They can't play .700 ball all year long.

every optomistic sportscaster is saying that. and i have to agree. consistent good pitching is what wins world series.

Well I said don't poke the dragon. The team you guys had dead and buried a few weeks ago is closing fast and looking invincible. Our offense is horrible. I couldn't even listen to them the last few nites on the radio at work. Hopefully they will right the ship as it is taking on water fast. "Where is Roger", glad I wasn't chanting that ditty a few weeks ago.

Still nice to be in 1st while slumping. Honestly, did anyone think our beloved Red Sox wouldn't pull at our heart strings.
That's why we fans all die so young. Keep the faith, withouth the valleys you don't appreciate the peaks.

Go Red Sox

Change the lineup, and DO NOT BAT your 3 worst hiters back to back to back!!!
What is Francona thinking?

Dice K looked great today. Manny looked good, so he hit good :bl2: .
Okajima, got the old heart pumping in the 8th putting the first two on, but the K to Barry* was schweeeeet. Yankee fans must of been licking there chops when he was up to bat.

Go Red Sox
