I would like to thank everyone involved in the auctions. It really helps a lot.

I have had the staples removed and go back to see the ortho guy on July 3rd. My leg is braced rigid until then. I am able to drive and move around with either a cane or crutches. So I'm not totally imobilized. The doc doesn't want me bending the knee too much until the 6 weeks have passed. He wants the stitched muscles to heal where they were pulled thru my kneecap.

After the 3rd of july I'll be starting physical therapy. I know that is going to hurt but pain is good right? This will be for who knows how many weeks before I am cleared to go back to work.

The skull fracture seems to be healing well as it is only a little tender in a small spot. Still get the slight dizzyness when I lay down to go to sleep but that passes in a second or two. Hopefully that goes away because that sux. Mass General will be doing 2 more CT scans in the next couple of months and hopefully they come back clear.

Again thanks to everyone especially Eddie and Mike.

Mac, Just remember that pain is weakness leaving the body so when the pain is gone you will be stronger and be able to sling those big jigs on the canal much further!!!

get well soon!

Your welcome Mac
Big thanks to Tagger and Mike for all their hard work and to all who helped out donating and buying tix.
It's nice to see our little community pull together and help out a very giving person who can use a helping hand. Good to hear you are on your road to recovery.
I still remember the day I met you, it was down the canal and you had some herring left and offered some to me and we fished a while and talked. I could tell right then that you were one of the good guys. It's a pleasure to pitch in for someone like you who's had such an unfortunate accident. You'll be back to work before you know it.
