View Full Version : First bluefin tuna of the year
keeperreaper 06-08-2007, 02:59 PM Went out east today and pulled the squids around. Low and behold in the 54 degree water came a 64" tuna. Not a bad way to start the day off. Went to weigh it in at Hook-Up but their scale was broken. Guessing weight 150-160pounds. Didn't get a picture of it yet still on ice but will post when I take them. It is good to hear a drag scream again.:kewl: :kewl:

keeperreaper 06-08-2007, 03:19 PM You're up next on the rod for the tuna. Got a nice cd for you to listen to while you are playing the fish.:nailem: :nailem:
Sluggoslinger 06-08-2007, 03:30 PM unreal... I gotta get one. What are you doing with all that meat? yummy!
keeperreaper 06-08-2007, 03:37 PM SS I give about 90% of it away to people who want it and keep a little for my family. I will release all the tunas I catch unless someone wants it.
Bronko 06-08-2007, 03:44 PM Bubbles??? :jester: :jester:
Let's not get all wrapped up in the Tuna stuff just yet, the Harwich Headhunter is coming up. :humpty: :humpty:
Slipknot 06-08-2007, 04:49 PM WOW, you are out of control kid. You are all over those tuna you machine you. I hear more of your tuna catches than anyone else and never here of your bass catches, you got it bad.
remind me to never catch one of those, I don't think I can handle it.
Great Job! :btu:

keeperreaper 06-11-2007, 01:31 PM Mike, Whats the wors on the sharks behind the block? Anything doing?
MakoMike 06-11-2007, 01:47 PM Yep, according to the reports I got yesterday the blue sharks are there. Some boats lost count when they got to about the 20 fish mark. Makos shouldn't be far behind.
