View Full Version : Better but fewer
Biteme 06-09-2007, 09:17 AM Even though the fish are getting fewer in between they are certainly better quality. Last weekend I got a 22# on the fly rod and last night I got a 35# from the surf in three feet of water. The plug (Blurple Mombo) was jammed top to bottom in the mouth, not one hook in the fish.
BigFish 06-09-2007, 09:24 AM Darn nice fish! Congrats!:claps: :btu:

keeperreaper 06-09-2007, 12:54 PM Mambo minnows are fishy as hell. They are very productive. Great catch.
Circlehook 06-09-2007, 02:49 PM Classic rigor mortis half moon, or you underestimated you cooler size:smash:
nice fish
Biteme 06-09-2007, 02:52 PM That fish sat up head first in the side by side fridge in the garage all night. I had to take out all the shelves, when I took it out this morning it had a little shape to it.
jmonte45 06-09-2007, 03:32 PM very nice. Heading out in the am, hopefully have some luck like you had. Great Fish!

ChiefLinesider 06-09-2007, 08:58 PM Nice, looks like a trophy fish mount in the second picture
outnumbered 06-09-2007, 09:20 PM Nice looking fish, now that my projects are done I can get out there more and take a few I hope.
EricM 06-10-2007, 02:24 AM I love catching them that way, when they prop their mouths open with the plug. Makes 'em fight a bit sluggish, as they get filled up with water fast...but still
