Thinking about fishing the canal in the morning, about 4 am. Anyone else thinking of fishing it, can't decide if want to go. Heard its been slow last week or so.

I got a few in the high 20 inches Sunday morning. I also hooked into one nice fish who took me for a ride. I followed her down the canal bank best I could but I was never even able to slow her down. I eventually lost her when she snagged me on the rocks. :(

It's the second week in June. U should not need internet advice on weather or not to go fishing.
Ur skills where not rewarded this time.Thats why they call it fishing..
Keep at it.

heading down to the canal now, any suggestions on what the best artificials to use? Are the 9 inch sluggos good to use right now or still too early?
