While targeting bass, bluefish show up and they're chomping up all your eels or rubber, what do you most oftentimes do? Wait for them to leave, move to another spot, change fishing tactics, target the bluefish?

When the blue bite slows down fire up the eels again. likwid 06-22-2007, 09:21 AM Get under the blues. Duke41 06-22-2007, 09:27 AM I get on my cell and call Clammer so he can catch some food! Swimmer 06-22-2007, 10:50 AM Before I scrolled down to DUKE 41's post I felt that Clammer should be notified about the bloofish surge also. We all know how he loves "em".:tooth: ThrowingTimber 06-22-2007, 11:17 AM Depends on the size of the blues. IF they're small enough you may want to live line the suckers  You havent lived until you've had a bass CREAM a live lined blue  cheferson 06-22-2007, 11:39 AM keep fishing eels. Ussally a lot of blues means theres a decent amount of bait in the area, which means theres probally some nice bass too. The Iceman 6 06-22-2007, 12:17 PM I agree with Chef, I usually keep fishing eels. In blitz conditions I wil switch obviously... Sluggoslinger 06-22-2007, 12:31 PM Get chunks on the bottom below them... steve 06-23-2007, 12:43 PM WAIT AND TRY TO FISH THRU THEM.
