Hey--if they can average 47.35 lbs per fish, I'll be the first to tip my hat to them--they'll deserve it :btu:

One thing that helps is that only 2 fish per angler can count towards the club standings.

Not only do they have to average 47.35 per fish but its got to be done by 5 different anglers......minimum

Yup, and I decided not to fish in that thing this year....what would the standings for RISAA be if a few 40s a 51 and a 60 where weighed in:nopain: ...Lot of the highliners from last year are not even in the thing..so who is everyone really measuring there success against?".

 that really comes across as condescending there:read:
I guess since team S-B has no "real" competition up till a few weeks from now when the comms will have a larger field of fish to put up, then it doesn't count? you're right it is just a lead, if they are still in the lead come October, then it does count and I think it's a pretty good accomplishment if they lead the thing all year and win it.

I agree slip, I was just stirring the pot on a hot day, keep everyone on there toes and just remind them there is a long way to go in this thing:cheers:

I agree with you bill and bruce....the commercials commence pretty soon

47 + pounds average is a good number for the team though

I think its going to be good fun

plus....someone on our team can hit another korker from the surf at any time

I take this opportunity to remind you that last years winning team consists of 8 guys all fully employed ( I do think Charlie is exactly fully employed, but he may smack me for saying this ) in professions other than commercial fishing! Granted 47# average is huge, congrats, but we will not lay down. See you at The Cup. Art

boy. I hope it's me, I have resorted to going back to the old school to catch a keeper, this weekend will be the first shot with the penn 710 spinfisher. Who knows, I might catch a new world record, but probably not :(
