As we'll all celebrate the Fourth of July, in our many ways, let's take time to remember what others have given over the years (back to 1776) for us to be able to celebrate today.

I salute all the members of our Armed forces, both past and present and say THANK YOU.

If you have a flag please display it. If you don't have one, get one.

Members of the Armed Forces both past and present, please sign in.

Have a original Brown Bess,,, Been handed down thru generations. My lines are on the British side (Long time ago,, don't :behead: )
to the best of my knowledge this has been fired every 4th since the first one (or very near). I'll not break tradition this year.

Any idea how hard it is to find an original?
Beyond priceless.
Irish by way of Cape Breton Island.
British? Won't hold that against you.
Happy Fourth.

If you really want one, not that hard to find (in the right circles).
A shop in town had 2 for sale, both needed work, one was converted to Caplock way back when. (but I wouldn't want to shoot either)
Get into "Reenactments" and you can locate one fairly easily. Just got to be willing to pay the price.
I've had some nice offers for mine,,, but, not for sale...... ever
