And to top it all off, they'll claim ignorance, and it'll be your word against theirs. (Unless there was a witness)
One more thing on my list of "How can a person be so stupid?"
You know, like "How could that person drive like that and pass a driving exam?"

One of the guys I work with was driving north on route 18 in Lakeville after a round of golf six weeks ago. Fifty m.p.h. speed limit. Comes up on a guy parked on the shoulder. Guy parked on shoulder does u-turn from shoulder in front of my co-workers new 07 GMC PU obviously without benefit of defensive/safe driving techniques. Guy doesn't die in u-turn car. Must have been a volvo. GMC PU demolished. Co-worker screws up his neck and had some bleeding on the brain, bad headaches, and some other more minor injuries. Just came back to work.

Crashing new truck sucked. Not having a beer after golf priceless.

I need to take a defensive driving course.
Seems everytime i'm out there is a near miss lately.

People just have too much on their minds and in
too much of a hurry to make anything but being defensive safe.

when i grab my car keys to leave my home

i also grab my digital camera too...

following an accident.... grab it...

because instantly afterwards you can snap pictures

of the driver...his car , the license plate

any skid marks ,vehicle damage

traffic flow....light or heavy

weather conditions that day

all of it !! and pictures don't lie.
