could you get out of this Basswood tree. :huh:

Tree guy knew what it was worth and only charged the lady $1,000, to take it down with crane and bucket.

I love Basswood ,,, Great handcarving wood ,, swims well .. Little denser and heavier than ayc ,, No ayc hangover .. last time I bought it ... a month ago .... $3.40 bf

First rate stuff, really nice to work with.

Basswood is all I use--knots rarely a problem--turns well. Where can I get a tree that size??
