The Yankees have been on fire for quite a while,
and the Sox have been barely playing 500 ball and the big lead the Sox once had is disappearing !

Yup! It is dwindling....knew it would! Sox need to liven up the offense!!! Heard a stat yesterday...in the last 30 games the Sox have scored 2 or less runs in half of them?!?!?!? WOW!

The Yankees have a pretty easy July schedule, since the all star break for the rest of the month they don't have a game against an above .500 team....next month they have 3 against Cleveland, 7 against Detroit, a trip to Anaheim for 3 and then they end the Month with 3 against the Sox.......

The sox will beat KC tonight, then if they can take 3 of 4 from Chicago and then split the series with Cleveland (that is a tester) they will be fine going into august, Back to back road series in Seattle and Anaheim kinda sucks though......Remember the Sox still have 15 games against Tampa Bay this year :kewl:

if the sox play 500 ball for the rest of the year... the yankees have to play 650 -700 to catch up...

Theo the boy wonder should have made a move a month ago.

BigCat.....I think I heard the Reds might shop Ken Griffey Jr. a bit? He may more than qualify as a broken down circus dog but I think for the right price he might be good in center and add some punch to the offense? Crisp gotta go....he is invisible! Thoughts?

Griffeys stats are 24/65/.287.....pretty darn good for broken down!

Griffey great player when he is healthy, healthy is the key word, he has missed a ton of games.
This has got to stop it has been going on to long.
Absolutly no bench who can you bring in Willie Mo?can't hit, cant run, cant field.
Miraibelli all he can do is catch Wake, he can't hit his weight:liquify:

They're the Red Sox, they have to make you feel sick to your stomach sometimes.
Keep the faith and root root root for the home team.

GO RED SOX!!
