i was surprised nobody started a thread about saturday's busch race and the robbie gordon deal. the last laps of the race were crazy. i was totally shocked that nascar started the race even though robbie refused to get in line. the whole world knew he was going to wreck ambrose and alter the outcome of the race.
i thought robbie actually should have started second on the final restart. at least that's what the tv replays showed. nascar should have red flagged the race when robbie didn't get back in line (13th according to nascar). but the harvick win was sweet after pruit tried to push him into the grass on the second to last restart.
any thoughts. sirius radio was talking about this all day yesterday.
You have time to watch the bush race but you can't wet a line or give a guy a call back?????????????? :bsod: :smash::realmad:   :call: You know this is a fishing site.......right?

I thought Robbie could have been in first, as he was taken out when the yellow was already showing. Nascar might have blown this one.

yep, they blew it. Then deflected it on RG for not coming in.
He had every right to be pissed, they stole his victory, but far be it from Nascar to admit they made a mistake.

nascar screwed the pooch on robbie, but his response was totally bushleague and uncalled for. who does a burnout next to the winner? it was kind of funny though. ambrose handled the situation much better.

I missed the whole thing. I agree with you, the burnout was kind of bush league but you have to like it a little. You don't see much of that these days in Nascar. Nice to see the emotion.
Much more interesting than the Stewart s-bomb stuff.

yup, that was the first time i was talking to the tv and standing up from the couch in while. haven't had that much nascar action since martin's heartbreaker at daytona.

As much as many don't like R.Gordon,he did win that race.
The funny thing is that Ambrose is going to race one of his cars.

but i decided way early in the game
that since i was moving... that i wouldn't
meet my goals if i had television, so the first
thing i did was cancel my direct tv! ( temporarilly
of course...) because soon it's patriots season...
ON JULY FIRST:
I have realized though just how much time i actually
consume watching the tube... especially the NEWS :wall:
so it's been a good experiment....
and a great lesson learned.
I am actually three weeks ahead of Schedual!! :btu:
