View Full Version : I Blew It.......Sorry
I need to withdraw that fish from the Striper Cup.
I broke the following rule:
• A competitor must be registered in the tournament 1 DAY BEFORE commencing to fish."
I wasn't.
I had thought I just need to be entered a full day to weigh in a fish. I had started a thread about this a while back and had remembered it wrong.
It sucks because I had others that rivaled that fish that would have been within the rules(24 hours after I registered). Oh well.
Sorry for crying wolf. I sent an e-mail to OTW.

Swimmer 08-13-2007, 10:39 AM We've never met but I'm proud of you nonetheless.
ThrowingTimber 08-13-2007, 11:37 AM In a world where people cheat during charity tournaments this is good to see especially during a money and prize tournament.
It definitely sets you apart from folks who have 4 team members weigh in the same fish for the same tournament :laugha: , or from folks who "borrow" a fish from a buddy to take first place in their clubs tourney :laugha: etc etc...
I think it was a simple misunderstanding and it seems you've handled the matter as best as possible. Good for you now GO GET 'EM!!!!
Slingah 08-13-2007, 11:41 AM :btu: :claps:
