View Full Version : Of you have little kids you'll understand
JohnR 08-13-2007, 01:50 PM Well, my 6 year old son has a "Neopet" - What's that? A digital online pet that you have to log in and play with and feed on occasion. He kinda forgot about it so I logged in and his "digital" pet was "digitally dying". So I had to "digitally feed" it so we would not need to digitally flush it down the toilet :wall: Not that a blue cat / fox looking thing with wings would likely fit down the ol' porcelain casket...
Sorry - had to vent a little - you with little kids will understand :hihi:
UserRemoved1 08-13-2007, 02:24 PM did it cost you digital money?
pmueller 08-13-2007, 02:29 PM Reminds me of a tamagachi ( you know what I mean).
Then there were our intro. to fish 101. When my daughter was younger, and I traveled more, I bought her one of those fish tanks that had only plastic fish on a thread. The thread was tethered to a piece of metal. A magnet would spin on the bottom of the tank. Man, I got my moneys worth out of that "pet". Ya, I'm a horrible Dad for not getting her the real thing. She turned out OK. T

Hehehehehe - Yeh, I'm putting a system together for Liam but told him we needed a place to put it first. He suggested his room and I told him not until he's 18 :hihi: - until then it's the living room (system will also double as a media center)... My son already has plenty of books and yesterday, he was the choggie king :hee: - made dad proud :tooth:

Mr. Sandman 08-14-2007, 08:06 AM We had a bunch of those digitial pets even a robot dog. The fad seems to have faded in our household.
Some of them have a the "reset" button to bring them back from the dead.
Fishpart 08-14-2007, 08:20 AM I'm interested in what kind of BILL I get when they turn a year old to keep the service running......

UserRemoved1 08-14-2007, 08:26 AM Can you be charged if you were to murder one of these pets? :hee:
Katie 08-14-2007, 07:46 PM First of all, Liam is 6 already?! holy cow.
Secondly, back when i was 9 [ back in 1999 ] i was addicted to that site, spent 2 years on it, no idea why. but no it doesn't cost money, unless you go into stores and buy the things that come with codes to get what they call ' rare ' items.. he'll get over it soon ;)
