Powerful tool for someone that needs it.

I think I told the story while looking for some help. My bro in-law was visiting from CA when I got the boat., I mentioned that I'll need something to communicate for help (if batteries died) and gps would be a plus. We looked online and saw this handheld. He is in the electronics business and said he could get it from his wholesaler. I told him I'd shop around and see what I need. A week or so later, he shipped it to me. I found out that its a 2-way radio/GPS, but not VHF.
This is a VERY slick unit that has fantastic reviews. GPS, Altimiter, weather radio, 2-way radio, etc. Its just not what I need. It sells from $399-499 from what I can see online. I paid $320. I will sell it for $300. I took it out of the package, read the book and that was it. I have all the materials, books, cd-rom, adapter/charger etc. I have not even removed the clear plastic film on the screen.
