I have a boat in mind but I have to sell this one first as I am short on cash for the new one. So I hope it goes quick!! Its on ebay also.
I am hoping for $5000
fishbones 08-22-2007, 10:24 AM Nice. I sold mine last year because I didn't have enough time for boat fishing and family. I wish the timing was better. I am going to be looking for a boat next year when my son is old enough to go out with me. It looks like you set it up great for fishing. Good luck with the sale and with the purchase of the new one.

BigBo 08-23-2007, 08:45 PM I've been fishing on this boat many times. I can say that the motor is very strong, very reliable, and the boat fishes well.:D
macojoe 08-23-2007, 09:20 PM Moosh, just let me know if you want to come buy and want to take a look!
Motor is old and doesn't look so hot But I fished it hard this year and always got me home!! Starts right up!
Thanks for asking!!

Mike Y 08-30-2007, 04:25 PM Damn, sold the trailer?? What's "road-worthy"?? Road worthy enough to go back and forth from the Cape to NJ?? What is it now???
macojoe 08-30-2007, 05:44 PM Its my friends trailer, He has it under a 21 foot Contender, Uses it every week to go from Taunton to Chatam. Just needs a fender maybe a roller or two. I am getting it tomorrow, I will let you know, But is very very reliable!
Cape to NJ how offten?? I am sure if its just a few times a year it is great!!
Hey for $5K I will sell you the trailer under the boat! But I need the cash for my new boat so I have to move this, and I will make out fine by selling the trailer and lowering the boat price.
coork 08-30-2007, 09:42 PM What size is your prop?
macojoe 08-30-2007, 09:51 PM Most guys use a 17, but I carry lots of weight when its me and all the fish!
I bought this motor with a SS 19 pitch and seems to do ok, But I perfer a 15 X 15 1/2 Thats what I ran when it was a I/O and when I had the 175 Yamaha on it.
Do you have a V20?? Take a look at wellcraftv20.com 1500 members with V20's!

missing link 09-05-2007, 04:54 PM MJ did I see your boat in Middleboro ? today?:smash:
LINK
Slipknot 09-05-2007, 05:09 PM MLink, I don't think that one is his, he is in Yarmouth. I see the one you saw, looks just like his , even has a bimini.
I can't believe the price this boat has not sold. macojoe, is it in craigslist? That is cheap for a 20' boat like that.
I wish it were a center console. if it were my wife would kill me.
Slipknot 09-05-2007, 08:12 PM Link, I guess that is his boat afterall, I just went by it again and that is the one in the pics.
enjoy the new boat Joe, you are right it is a tank
BigBo 09-05-2007, 10:42 PM That is MJ's boat over there. Higher visibility than at his house in W. Yarmouth. He lives up the street from bassmaster, so there are only neighborhood locals driving by it at his house.
macojoe 09-06-2007, 10:05 AM Yep thats my baby!!
I can't belive I am giving it away and no one has bought it??
I have 5 times the asking price in that boat over the last nine years! I know I will never get close to that but I think i have more then a fair price on it??
Thanks for looking!
bloocrab 09-06-2007, 11:43 PM out of curiousity ...where in Middleboro?

zimmy 09-07-2007, 06:48 AM I have a buddy who is looking for a boat, but seems to want an aluminum hull. Not sure why. This would be perfect for him. I gave the info to him so who knows.
macojoe 09-07-2007, 08:44 AM Thanks Zimmy!
This is a nice boat for anyone, its in great shape! Trailer needs fenders, Motor runs strong even if its not pretty.
Thanks Link I was wondering if is was visablke enough?
moosh 09-09-2007, 08:01 PM Macojoe ;whats that boat rated at for a motor , like whats the smallest motor you could put on that boat , I have a motor I just like to know if it would fit on that boat , thats a hell of a price for that boat. let me know and if its still available..
BigBo 09-09-2007, 08:22 PM moosh, I think I can answer for MJ just in case he doesn't see this right away. The 20 is rated for up to 235hp. I've seen many with as little as 115, but IMO a 140hp and up is ideal. I had a 150hp Yamaha on a V20 center console and it seemed to be more than enough hp for me. Topped out around 38mph and still economical.
As far as I know, this boat is still available as of yesterday. He did take several calls regarding it yesterday though, so best check with him. Send him a PM.
macojoe 09-10-2007, 05:23 AM Thanks Bigbo!!
Yes moosh it is still there for now?
As said above we have seen many with smaler motors, and thats fine if speed means nothing to you.
140+ is best but on real chopy days your not going to use the power any way.
I have had a few calls this week end and there is someone supose to go look late this afternoon? They all say that!!
Thanks for asking!
