While comming home from work tonight I got the call from the Wife, hey can you come and pick the Kid's up IM @ the Salon?Sure I'll be there in 15Min.So I pick-em up and headed home, well I was 3/8ths of a mile from home & was stoped from Tree service guy's they were doing work on the street.I waited for the "ok to go"well the ok to go came I gave it some gas and BOOM!Sounded like someone jumped in the bed of my Truck! Not to mention my daughter wasn't to happy w/ the loud noise,I put the truck in park and could hear all kinds of unpleasent & nasty noise's comming from the tranny I got out and saw my rear end pissing oil on the street.Great!!

Now mind you I just hit 36,238 miles on an 05 The basic warranty just ran out 238 miles ago,O goodie!
While looking @ my Kid's (daughter unhappy) Son being a Champ trying to console his Sister I looked around & a Guy came out of his house,I thinking great I got a tow home....Well nuttin doin the rear end is completly frozen! While figguring this out i notice some cars rolling by well one of-em is the Wife & didn't notice her own kKids hanging out on the roadside:hf1:
So I waited a Min.& call her @ home, she comes to the scene and jumps right in,she got on the phone and call Dodge's "Road side assistance" and they said It's corvered & would tow it to the next dealer for free, well it gets better and worse.
The good news, the rear end is covered exept for $100 deductable because IM 238 miles over the Dodge basic warranty the wifes is going to work on getting that deductable squashed,I mean Come'on there's 238 miles over the basic warranty.....I have faith she'll get it done,so for now IM out of my truck for a bit.

Well the bad news......The Tow Guy came in like 15 Min.Whooo hoo! IM thinking this Guy's Super Champ, well he's a nice guy but Green to the game, this Guy got grease all over my truck.WTF!!!!!Are you Fu(king kiding me!!!IM not talking a spot here & there, where talking paw prints all over it!
After dragging my poor truck on the flatbed we drive it to the dealer then I watch-em darg it off "while it's in Park!!!!"?!?!I couldn't belive my eye's,(I didn't know it was in park till after the fact)the Service MGR pointed out all of the Goodies the tow Guy was giving me I kindly smiled & said thank's but had the luck of seeing it myself:lossinit:

Then the Service mgr. said hey got a second?Whats up I said?He said come take a look @ the inside of your truck,so I peeled my eye's off of the custom grease job to look @ the inside....I couln't F_I_N belive it:af: This Fu(king clown had grease on the seat, stearing wheel, floor mat,inside/outside door handle and the head reast:spin: I was totaly consumed by the Fu(kin mess in my truck,I scan my eye's to find him & tell-em what the F he did to my truck & where do I find him........There he was filling out the paper work on my Hood!?!?!WTF Who the!?!?IM gonna kill-em!!!!The kid was oblivious as to what he had done or doing as I barked @ him.........Get the Fu(k off my truck!!!!!He had no Clue @ all.
So the story goes I called "Dodges road side assistance"& told them the story and they felt bad and "said" we will take care of it,I should be getting a call in a couple of days.
Well I soon see.....

Not to mention IM going to miss the tides tonight & tommorow and most importantly Mon-tues tides:af:

So how was yur day?

Thanks Guy's,man I was on a tear last night:splat: I do feel a little bit better after it's set in for a few,& yeah he was a young clown he really had no clue as to what he had done.I'd hate to see him lose his job on this but some how down the road he's gotta get a F N clue.

I haven't heard Boo from Road Side Assistance so looks like I get to call them up & listen to a few MUSAC toonz:wiggle:while waiting for a live body.
It's not like it's the weekend & I have nothing better to do:hs:

Well let's see where this get's me:hf1:

Sorry to hear about your gears.Dodge is ,to say the least, famous for the exploding trannys, rear ends, massive oil and coolant leaks bad gas mileage and poor braking.I think they look nice.I'll stick to Old reliable Ford.I hope dodge takes care of that whole mess and the tow guy should be looking for a new line of work right about now.I work on Bigger trucks and we use a few big name tow companies they always do a great job keeping them clean from prints or anything else and they remove the driveshafts most of the time for towing.I'd call dodge and tell them to take that company off the tow list for the area due to the fact that you were alreay in a bad place when you had to get towed and rather than clean and courteous you got messy, dirty and dumb.Keep us updated on how your truck is when it's done and make sure when you put it in park it doesn't roll.If that guy broke your tranny someone needs to fix it.
