If he watches one more fast ball go down the middle of the plate only to feebly swing and strike out on a 3-2 count, I'm going to lose it.
Worst signing EVER!! I HATE JD DREW

View Full Version : Can we get rid of the Corpse that plays right field also known as JD Drew? I HATE JD DREW Fishin' Blues 08-30-2007, 02:30 PM Agreed, he's a bum. Ellsbury comes up Saturday. I don't care how much Drew makes, he doesn't deserve any more playing time. He's terrible. The Dad Fisherman 08-30-2007, 03:22 PM I'm about ready to take a bat to his forehead...:wall: MAC 08-30-2007, 04:25 PM Yeah he sux. But he is laughing all the way to the bank. What did he cost 7 mil ? afterhours 08-30-2007, 07:03 PM seems when theo has a woody for someone....:poke: Chris in Mass 08-30-2007, 07:45 PM Does he care or have a pulse? pmueller 09-01-2007, 06:55 PM Nancy Slipknot 09-06-2007, 08:58 PM :gorez::behead::devil::exp::splat::wall: you gotta be kidding me:wall: another bases loaded late in the game and what's he do? double play HE SUCKS Bigcat 09-07-2007, 08:44 AM I have to laugh when they say he has to get used to the AL. He been playing ball since he was a baby, and been with the sox since spring training. W.T.F see the ball hit the ball. When Manny comes back he has to sit, if he don't he will cost this team big time, and I think you will see heads roll :behead: Scuttlebutt 09-07-2007, 08:49 AM I'm not a fan of JD either, no clutch hits...but he is a decent outfielder. Also, one thing to keep in mind is how drastically players can change from year to year. Look at Lowell. In 2005 for the Marlins he batted .236 with 8HRs and 58 RBIs. He is now batting .329 with 18 HRs and 101 RBIs...that's a huge difference. It all depends on the front office's threshold for pain with the media. Look at Renteria...one year...then gone. In 2006 with the Braves he batted .293 and is currently at .336. Go figure. We might have cut JD a little slack if he had a little more personality. I'm thinking (hoping) he is gone after this year. fishbones 09-07-2007, 09:00 AM Good luck to the braintrust finding a way to move that contract. I would be happy if they just showed some stones and left him off the 25 man playoff roster. It would be difficult, but it would be best for the team. I'd rather see Royce Clayton, Ellsbury, or even Keilty playing in the playoffs. afterhours 09-07-2007, 06:38 PM ...OMG he got a hit! Squid kids Dad 09-07-2007, 08:29 PM Give him time..Be patient....:usd: EarnedStripes44 09-10-2007, 03:52 PM nancy boo vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
