Why do you think a team like the Ravens can average like 325 lbs across the O-line, and less than 30 years ago, Hall Of Famers like Ron Yary and John Hannah weighed 265-270 and were considered big for their position?

Jim Otto weighed something like 230. So did Mike Webster. Today 230 might let you play LB or safety. Center--forget it :rollem:

These players are under a huge amount of pressure to perform, they do what they have to do to stay at the top of their game..sometimes illegal though, don't make it right, but if they can't keep up..they get ousted....Tough job..

may actually work out better for that pats. they shouldn't need him in uniform those first few days to win the division, and shortening his season by four games can only help when it comes to playoff time.
