I heard on the radio last night(107.3 boston) a DJ say that thousands of menhaden were going to be stranded inside a river in rhode island,i believe it was called black river or something similar, that because of extreme low tides they were going to run out of oxygen in the water.
Has anyone heard news of this? also I wouldnt think a few thousand would make a huge difference as ive witnessed many 10X10ft schools with thousand or so peanuts past week or so.

First I hear but at 4am today I went out to my local spot only to find it was pretty mucj dried up and I could walk out at least 15-20ft further than I have ever seen.Looked like I could have waded to prudence from NK.Was really weird and for obvious reasons I went home and fell back asleep.Extreme low tides.
