View Full Version : School bus hornblowers!!!!
striperman36 09-06-2007, 08:10 AM 1st day of school.
Woman in a pickup, 3 stops away starts laying on the horn, harassing all the parents taking pics, etc. of the 1st day.
I raise my hands whens he does it at our stop and she gives me the finger!!!!
Not the first time this has happened, last year it was both following and approaching the bus, whats 5 min going to do to your commute in town at 0730?
Getting him on the bus is the best part of my day.
If it's an issue leave earlier, it's just pissing me off and getting the kids frazzled.
You hit the nail on the head. If people would leave a few minutes earlier they wouldn't be so stressed trying to get somewhere.
MarshCappa 09-06-2007, 12:10 PM I can't even imagine this. What a bitch! Obviously she dosn't have kids. What does she hope to accomplish in taking the pics? Eliminate bus stops? I don't get it, she needs to be sent out of the country. bye bye
striperman36 09-06-2007, 01:01 PM parents taking pics of there kids.
Her tude is amazing.
I deliberately talk longer to the bus driver just to get these people pissed more.
If ya really want to get em going, give a big wave and say "have a nice day" with a smile. This usually gets them riled up.
RIJIMMY 09-06-2007, 01:45 PM I'd get the license # and report her as a suspicious person around the kids/school buses.

keeperreaper 09-06-2007, 04:45 PM S36, RIJ, 5/0, in our town it is pretty prevalent. Just call the cops and they'll follow the bus in an unmarked car. they love this stuff.
BigFish 09-06-2007, 04:51 PM 4 oz. Hopkins.....hard!:realmad:
Bob Thomas 09-06-2007, 04:56 PM Stink Bombs in front of the hood while she's waiting. A/C or Heat on...suck smell into passenger compartment.....ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

I agree, flipping the bird in the presence of kids is wrong and may be considered a threat. Agressive behavior around school buses should be reported. Let the police see them flip out. Personally, I get a charge outa seeing all those folks running off to school. It's one of the few things that's right in this world.

Bobby,
Who the F is Billy?

And falsely reporting something to the police isn't wrong and also illegal?
The thrust of jimmy's suggestion was to create the impression that a pedophile was tailing the school bus, wasn't it? "Suspicious person around the kids/buses" implies a little more than an impatient "see you enn tee" honking her horn.
Don't get me wrong--I'm not defending her, but you want to make sure that you don't land in the soup yourself ;)
striperman36 09-07-2007, 02:25 PM I'll just talk longer and try and laugh.

What Mike says is right. Your report to the police brings a needless response and a possible criminal charge. Her middle finger sticking up is a protected, albeit imature, expression of speech. Whatever happened to bus stops? When the bus stopping goes beyond the mere picking up of children and turns into a social gathering the bus driver could be cited for blocking traffic and/or creating gridlock, which is a stretch.

Geeze, I missed the pedophile thing, that is an accusation that is way wrong if it isn't true. You don't pull a gun that big unless it'a true. Even if un proved or proved to be innocent , the accusation alone will leave serious damage to someone's reputation and live. Possibly dangerous damage. What she needs, really , is a quick pullover and a calming down by a prosessional police officer, a reset if you will. But I do believe that agressive behavior toward a school bus shoule be reported right away.
