You have the times of the towers falling reversed--the south tower fell first at 9:59 even though it was the second one struck.

It was more heavily damaged by the initial crash.

Check out the "History Channel" now
They have some american groups blaming the american goverment for the attacks, saying the planes were just a cover up and an excuse to go to war.

Thanks Mike, you are right. Will edit.

Nope, it won't fly, Karl. We are not a united country, willing to make the sacrafices that our country made in those times.

We are all so fat and happy thinking about ourselves, me included, thinking about what we are going to buy next.

Meantime these Terrorists are planning our demise, make no mistake about it.

Can't stick your head in the sand, but that's what we do unless ,and until it hits our own families.

Just listen to binladen's last message,
suggesting we change our relegion in America.

In other words that's his only solution.

At some point this will be a fight to the finish.

When I first heard of it on the radio, messages were mixed and confused. At first, I thought that there had been a terrible accident, a wayward plane had crashed into one of the Towers. Then the second happened. I was uncomprehending. One of my co-workers decided to go find a TV at a pub and find out what had happened. We found that the World had changed forever.

How true Fred, it's a whole new ball game now. :(

We found that the World had changed forever.
I don't think the world has changed, just our perception of it has.

Additionally, it's too easy to use a "changed world" theory to justify radical and potentially harmful actions of our own, rather than make mindful course corrections in response to the wake up call.

9/11 shouldn't be a rally cry, that's not who we are, but rather a time for somber remberance of those lost and a steady conviction to continue to be the Country we've made it.

This was like it before 9/11 though most Americans did not know it was going on. Many in intelligence and the military as well as those living overseas knew, as did those that felt the need to be on the lookout for actions like these.

9/11 was just an increase in effort, a new phase, to what was occurring prior to that point. Sad but true.

The wake up call should have been the Al-Queda financed 93 car bombing of the WTC by the "sheik".
I believe that was the first attack on our innocent civilians in the US by an outside terrorist group.

It killed 6 and injured over 1,000 innocent civilians, but the light didn't go on.

Why i don't know, but somebody fell asleep at the switch and dropped the ball.

I was in college, had a roomate from the Bronx. The guy in the adjacent room was from Brooklyn, he was in tears. I was getting back from an 8 am spanish class. I am an avid microsoft flight simulator enthusiast, so I knew that the first plane was no accident. Planes on approach to runway 13 at La Guardia airport fly closest to the towers, but they are far and high enough out over the Hudson River that an accidental collision would have required suicidal negligence on a pilots part, not to mention a complete disregard for the ILS's glide slope indicator. My inclinations were confirmed when I saw the 2nd plane slam into the other tower on live TV. I had this weird feeling in my stomach, unexplainable...

...and no, it was not the fake eggs from dining hall.

Maybe we would have had Bin Laden by now if the Bush administration wasn't busy lining all their friends pockets in Iraq. Such a shame that this crime is still unpunished........RIP all.
