How about something a little different.;)
Ok, here are some tuna trollers I made, the heads are turned from IPE (Iron wood) as this was the heaviest wood I could get my hands on. After being turned, the heads are then filled with lead, sealed and epoxied. My wife ties the feathers on then another coat of epoxy over the wraps.
They weight about 3oz and are 6" long total length.
My friend Baja Dave brought the "mexican flag" one with him last year I made to La Paz and scored a couple of skipjack tuna on them, but more important, he said they run strait and true. He is currently in La Paz right now fishing as we speak and also has one of the "Mean Joe Greens". He will report back.
I am planning on taking these guys with me next summer for our La Paz vacation and I'll let you guys know how we do.
