How come the classifieds here are so much less active than on another board??? Is it purely numbers/members? It just appears to me that there are fewer listings here...
As I change gears for fall fishing, I realize how much gear, plugs, reels, etc. has not been used this year, even with the boat.... Going to thin the herd after the fall run and reload the arsenal that got most usage this year. I am thinking a percentage of my sales will be split between the site and the Habs family as well.

It's just different board cultures and probably has something to do with the demographics. But you're totally right...post a MAC for 60 bucks here and it won't get a bump but on some other boards it will get sucked up within the hour.

I've had good luck buying and selling here. Post what you've got, with the right price, stuff sells quickly.

Numbers and demographics. I think members of both will post some of the better deals here to help others that are close.

Plenty of activity here! :)

The volume of postings over at SOL is somewhat overwhelming, I think.

I sold a spinning reel here last year and two years ago.

This year I bought a car from here...
