Went to the gut today, no birds along Nantasket, or anywhere. Dirty, riled water. One guy trying off the pier, nada. he said fish were still around before the storm.
Thats my Hull report.
May try the canal next Wed, Thurs, Fri. morning.
Bye all

After all the family obligations were over got out to fish inside the gut. As usual we couldnt find bait, it was deeper than my brother thought. Made for a long cold sunday.
Monday started out the same, after a cell phone tip we found them. Then that call from his better half :call: and in we went. After the honey job was done we went back out. Did a quick search and found our bait and pulled in a few.
Agreed to fish between a tower and rock pile. Start our drift and in 2 minutes we both hooked up. He lost a blue and i landed a 19 pounder on his scale. Was 39 inches, does that sound right?
Anyway games over, it was late and catching a plane the next day.
1 fish in 8 days for the year. Now i start planning next year......you guys have it so good.
