lookin out the window, the friggan turkey's
are running across the backyard after raiding my garden
i still have to dig holes and put up a fence around it.

theres ice on top of the jacuzzi and the deck is like a skating rink!
thankfully...it's a clear sky and the sun will warm up the house soon.

i broke a single piece of tempored glass in the woodstove measuring 8 x 11
and that friggan piece is costing us more than $40 bucks.

now the turkeys are right behind my deck coming to eat bird seed
it's time to let out the dingo to do her JOB. gotta run:bo:

It kept me in bed this morning and now I am regretting it. Wish I went fishing. The older I get the lazier I get when it comes to being uncomfortable wetting a line.

yeah ....once you turn forty-to- forty two....you really start feeling the cold more
...i was out til dark tonight trolling (last one to leave) and my legs were real cold
from the lower temperature tonight
but the sun felt good and the sights were superb...i was the only one who
caught some stockies (3) but they were real picky today compared to yesterday fishing in the rain
... i got a real chill in me that was hard to get rid of... a hot shower and a fast jacuzzi did the trick tho...

i called the wife as i headed home from the lake which is just minutes away...
and said make me a cup of coffee right NOW....so i could get my core temperature up
....and now, i'm kicking myself in the butt for throwing away my old neopreme waders
which i should have repaired just to stay warm in out in the boat..but they had massive leaks everywhere.

Paul , i've been meaning to tell you about all the cool stuff i inherited by
buying this place...because the old man was a machinist and left behind a bunch of
old machinist tools for me to have...or i should say his son did.

i found this strange curved ruler (made of wood) and was gonna ask you
or cape sams or slipnot what its purpous was for ?

straight rulers were made for flat or straight surfaces..a curved rule was made for a bow roof or meausring a bow window....
although come to think about it...could have been for measuring big titties in a " who's got the biggest titty contest".

I have never seen a curved ruler before so I am of no help to you, although I prefer Steve's second conclusion. Old tools are the best tools.

your Daddies old car ....ya know the one with the stone wheels is still
decomposing in the backyard... :bl:

.....i just had to build a fire in the cave
.....but first i had to chase down some lightning
and capture a spark in an old hollow buffalo horn
filled with dry moss and carry it back to the lare
where i'm presently sharpening my spears.

Used the wood stove today. Hey Dave you won't be able to use that one on me in 5 months. Besides I hit the beach yesterday morning in the dark so I am not a complete sissie, although I did take a 3 hour nap yesterday afternoon and missed half the Pats game.

My dog ate all my semi ripe and green tomatoes, and puked them up all over the lawn. She does it every year. You would think she would learn.

dogs do that because they need vitamin C and they'll absorb some of it
knowing they'll puke...but they don't care because the need for vitamin C is stronger than their distaste for hurling. if you give them vitamin C in their food (on occasion) it stops or lessens their tendancy to do that..
