Do you think the cold overnight temps will kick the fall run into high gear? I think the next 2 weeks are gonna be significant!!!:kewl:

I had some consistent fishing, mostly schoolies with the occasional bigger fish mixed in. The consistent part is what was encouraging. BrianS 10-13-2007, 08:51 AM got my fingers crossed for this evening.... ill be sacrificing eels to the canal gods.. hopefully my offering will be deemed worthy GonnaCatchABig1 10-13-2007, 08:54 AM i hope so.. i want one last hurrah... baldwin 10-13-2007, 10:17 AM One last hurrah? I'm hoping that the season extends into December, but with better bass fishing. Last year, nice fish were caught in January. In the Sound, not the rivers. Vogt, what's that emoticon drinking in your message, chocolate milk I hope? Vogt 10-13-2007, 10:31 AM Vogt, what's that emoticon drinking in your message, chocolate milk I hope? Coffee, cant you tell? ;) Clogston29 10-13-2007, 10:46 AM it should get things moving, but with this west wind I don't think it will necessarily get things moving in the right direction for surf guys, at least up my way. GonnaCatchABig1 10-13-2007, 01:51 PM gaaaah!! blooooooooooooooooooooos.. i went a whole week or two with out one.. i quit :crying: plus i managed to do a split my waders and bust a crotch seem.. it's not to bad they just get a lil damp and make me look like i wet my self.. but still :af: i should just give up while i'm so far behind that theres no hope. :rotflmao: Biteme 10-13-2007, 02:30 PM The last couple of days I've seen huge blues and bass in the surf. This AM had big surf and they where in the first wave right on the beach. Both days we took several keepers, biggest was 30# and close to 15# blues. That 30#er was on my spook, which was cool. From what I've seen things have just gotten started, hopefully the weather will hold up. numbskull 10-13-2007, 03:36 PM Fun day today plugging with my son. labrax 10-13-2007, 05:51 PM Numbskull, Nice photos. I think I recognize that stretch of water, although, my perspective is from the shore looking out. ProfessorM 10-13-2007, 06:07 PM Nice job George and son. cardnial77 10-13-2007, 11:14 PM well with how tonight went, i think it's ramping up fast baldwin 10-14-2007, 07:26 AM Coffee, cant you tell? ;) Thought it was the usual ale!
