Do you like herring or bunker?

Guys at the bash got a look at these, and #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& has one in trade. This is for the great pencil from earlier this year! Your choice. The front section sits level, the tail has a stainless fin, so the tail drops below the water line. The tail section spins as you pull it through the water. Wait and twitch, wait and twitch--a nice wounded baitfish.

They both are beautiful. I think I lean toward the herring. Thank you very much. P.

Adam, Hope the family and you are well. How are you attaching the spinner on the back. You will have to send me one so I can inspect up close. :beat:

hey Warren! everyone here is well. Hope all is well there.

The tail is stainless. I cut a kerf in the rear section with a hand saw and epoxied the tail in. I drilled a couple of holes in the stainless to giv eit some more holding power. Then used a clamp to bend it. That stainless is tough stuff. Used tins snoips to cut it out and a grinder to smooth the edges. The rear section just spins on a trough wire with what amounts to a tail wrap at teach end, stainless washers help keep it rotating smoothly.

I've been using one and the action is pretty nice. The tail gives a nice little churning action. Flop it around on top like a struggling dying baitfish and it gets slammed!
