Just happened around noon today. A group of us there in the aftermath. Unbelievable. Can't believe I'm typing this. He was a guy who we saw fishing on a pretty regular basis, some on beach, some on kayak. John Countie and I met his mother and two brothers at the site this evening.... Lots of questions still remain. 31 is too young... I'll follow up as I know more.
Be careful out there.

Rest in peace Bobby Cuningham.

Very sad, even though the root cause seems to be medical, that gentleman should have been wearing a pfd. Especially with a known medical condition that might render him unconscious.

Might thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this sad time.

only 31 wow

i'm surprised he didn't want to use the buddy system
just in case a scenario like that happened...

but sometimes there is personal reasons for not wanting to.

I am related to Cunningham's within my own family
but not to Bobby's branch of the tree as far as i know.

my thoughts and prayers go out to the Cunningham family.

Rest in peace Bobby.

Had an aunt die in a single car MVA related to seizures. You never know when it will happen. Sad stuff, and thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Very Sad. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

I've started to kayak and fish and having been wearing my life vest, I certainly will be continuing to do so.
