Just got back from a week in SoCo. What a great way to spend time with the family. :ss: My wife liked fishing before but after getting into her first shore blitz's she has the bug. Wants to get back down this week.
My son Tynan 4 years old also got into his first blitz's. I started off early in the week letting him help me reel in fish and by Sunday he was hooking and landing big blues on his own. What a sight seeing him reel in a pencil that was getting attacked and actually hook up and get it all the way in on his own . Almost lost him a couple of times in the wash. Priceless!

Too right! Excellent work. I just did them same this weekend and the kids scarfed down a fried 5 lber when we got home. I had way more fun than they did and I'm sure you did as well. It doesn't get any better :)

My wife also got into her first shore blitz on saturday - and she landed a few blues once I arrived with the rods. My father (over from the UK on a visit) got his first fish on this side of the Atlantic, and my four year old daughter landed a couple of 5 lb blues (with some assistance from her father!). My 2 year old daughter even asked to reel in as well.

My father had the camera - hopefully there'll be some photos coming of a morning that made some great memories for us too!!
