Lucky enough to have a friend with 3 weeks time share first weeks in Jan. and always inviting us down. Talked to a guy fishing on the shore last year and he told me the spring is better from shore. Saw several charter boats in the harbor and they had some nice wahoo on the dock so I would say offshore charters would be the way to go. Enjoy.

I did a charter about 6 years ago in Aruba in late December. Got a bunch of Mahi Mahi and Wahoo. Not huge fish, but had a blast catching them. We were pretty close to shore the whole time. I was told that the billfish are not around at that time of year. I'm not sure if it's true, but the inshore fish are definitely around then.
