Hi again,

Ever think of trying acupuncture therapy ? My little brother (he is a better fisherman than me, he actually owns a boat). was having foot pain. He tried orthopedic shoes and various excersizes, but that didnt do much. He went to a acupuncture doc and the last time I spoke with him, he said the pain has been reduced. He is 51 and is a truck mechanic, on his feet all day. might be worth a try if nothing else works.
Good luck.

I was feeling the same aches and pains at the end of last year as well but worked out at the gym to support the muscles around the tendons last winter and this year has been great!

Get to the gym over the winter...consider it training for fishing.

You kids...if it weren't for ibuprofin @ 800mg , I'd be screaming jello. Eddie, for those foot aches, straighten your leg , grab your bir toe, and try to make it slowly touch your kneecap. If you have what I did it'll be cured real quick like that, plantar fasciatis (?) I'm just sore all over, throwing too much weight too often. Haven't felt this beat since High School Football.

My ankle is really killing me. Ive sprained it in the past and re-injured it this summer. Now it has a tendancy to roll.

Thats a great idea .. I'm joining a gym and doing alot of leg stuff for next year, and loosing some weight .. I went out like Auston Powers Fat Bastegde this year .. Waders fit me like a condom . Most weight I ever put on,, last winter .. not ready too let it all go ... ever .

Usual elbow and shoulder junk I can live with. Knee is a given after four surgeries, all about 30 years ago. But I am concerned with right hip acting up......

Fishing is a endurance sport.6-8 hrs on yer feet.making 10,000 cast's.
As we get older it does not get any easier.
While I may not look it.I am really limber.I walk, I move the weight's around enough to keep the dust off em.Every morning out of the shower I do a 5 minute streching routine.Look at some yoga moves..It's worth it..You have to keep at it.
The choice is simple really. The thing that bothers me the most is sleep deprivation..
I need my rest now more than when i was younger..I can feel the toll all nighters are having on my phyiscal health.

maybe you need a replacement, you are getting up there in the years :hihi:

just kidding obviously. my uncle has alot of joint problems and takes some joint supplement from GNC that he says changed his life. I'll ask him next time I see him - its probably either steroids or HGH under a different name though
