Lowell.

And it looks like A-Rod opted out of his contract, so expect the Yankees to make a big run at Lowell ;)

Not bad for a throw in. Lots of people complaining on how we had to pick up his expensive contract with the Beckett trade. Man who was more valuable? Pretty even if you ask me. You can keep A-hole. I'll take a class act over and ass act any day.

Lowell was as nice a throw in as you can get, Okajima is a close second.

For all the bashing Francona has taken over the years, he shut the critics up, and if a coach could get MVP he'd be it, what a great job he did, saving Okajima and Papelbon for when it counted. Sticking with Pedroia early in the year. Double shifts at the right time. The list goes on. What a year, what a team.

LIFE IS GOOD.

THANK YOU RED SOX!!!!!!!!!

Lowell indeed, considering who bats in front of him, could not have done it better. RBI Machine

I thought Elsbury played as good as anyone and he should be with us a long time. I thought Becket maybe should get it despite only the one game. Pedroia was outstanding , what a carreer ahead of him too.

I am not a Manny fan at all but if they hadn't walked him so much , I think he'd have broken all records and gotten the MVP.

I'm happy for lowel but his great play probably means he will get the moon and stars in his next contract but unfortunately , not from boston.

Oh yeah , how can we forget youklis??

Anyway , great to have a team where so many contributed when it counted.
