View Full Version : OLD BEAT-UP PLUG

I picked up a few old beat-up plug from a guy, an this is one I REFERBUISHED,
1. cut off the old rusted hooks
2. sanded the old paint off
3. filled all the holes an crakes
4. drilled an eye socket
5. dipped insealer
6. primed it
7. painted the body BLACK, W/RED/GOLD/SILVER/BLUE scales
8 gave it glow in the dark white eyes
9. coated it
10. gave him his tail back
got 3 more in the works now.

Sexy paint job.......but I like old plugs too much to do this myself. Was that a Pichney, Lupo, or Gibbs?

numbskull, I don't believe it was any of thoes, looks to be hand made,or should I say TURNED an BUILT by someone on SOL. it is 8" long. the lip has line marks about 1/4"apart where the bend is. cant tell you any more. Ive got 2 more I just re-finnished BUT cant post, my digital just DIED. will be out looking this week for another camera.
just REMEMBERED when I drilled the eye socket the wood SHAVINGS were --> Red"ish. thats about all I can tell you.
