I have a ton of blood and gunk stains on the deck of my boat, mostly from bluefish puke, blood and sh$t. before storing the boat I'd like to do a real good cleaning on it and then wax it. I bought some Meguiars (sp) wax that I'll apply after cleaning, but not sure what to use to clean it.
Since it will be out of the water, can I use some generic cleaining supplies, like soft scrub and hot water?

I have always used the soft scrub with bleach and a brush, it works great !!

same here soft scrub. gets everything off.

OnOff it will take rust and all off!! Don't get on the trailer stright, it will turn it black!

Soft scrub with bleache, just be sure to rinse it well to rid away the fine pumice.

I'm lazy - just bleach on organic stains (blood and guts). Spray it on, wait a minute then rinse off.

Another vote for MayKate's "On and Off." it takes everything off, just don't breathe the vapors!

Pressure washing the deck/nonskid will take it all off. I have used soft scrub and simple green and if you don't mind stripping the wax off, they work well, I have heard of bleach used as well, they just all strip wax but if you don't mind that and will be re-waxing, they will all work very well and leave it like new minus the shine.

X-14....spray on, scrub brush and wash off....done.

I use acid rain and natural ultraviolet rays. Works great and the price is right...

i had a blood stain on this shirt ....i owned for a long time...

and even though it had been through the wash 3 or 4 times
the stain never came out and it was now considered to be a work shirt...

well one day i took it off because it was hot and left it outside
in the rain.... and son of a gun, that stain was gone the next day!

. . . with the rain and the sun being nature's antiseptic. Now that it is cool/cold out and I get back from a day of groundfishing, the boat-soap and cold water wash/rinse don't get the decks as clean as in the summer when the water and weather is warmer, still, I put the boat away, it rains, then it dries and the sun beats down on the decks and things get cleaner than me scrubbing with Orpine. Acid Rain and UV-rays, they work.

Bleach..I even bleached Clammers rig a few times..You'll be suprised what it takes off..:spin:

I would go with the marykate On and Off, or my favorite stain/paint removers, time and weather. Im kinda lazy:yawn:
