Going to BassPro would be like sneaking over to Squire's for a burger. fishpoopoo 11-15-2007, 08:20 AM come on, at the very least bass pro is a fun place to window shop if you are in the area. i rarely buy anything from cabelas or bass pro for surf fishing. it's just so specialized a sport that these big-box type of specialty retailers don't carry a lot of the equipment. for that, you go to a mom and pop b&t. actually, the last thing i bot from bass pro was a spot hogg optical sight for my bow. they have a big hunting selection there that seems to be more interesting than the fishing stuff. striperman36 11-15-2007, 09:16 AM Ok Ok, I agree there are some things to get at BP. I will got to walk aournd with the kids and pick up a fsih t-shirt or someting. Its just a cool place to go .
