its all part of it,I had many many many skunkings, as has everyone on this board.
you have to go where the fish are, not where you want them to be

I'm impressed you've been still out there. I hung it up 2 weeks ago. :bc:

I would have concentrated my efforts on the south side, moving west of Hyannis instead of the north side this late in the year, not to say there is no fish on that side. Just a better chance for something on the south side IMO, but I hate the cold and gave up 3 weeks ago so at least you gave it the old college try.

SoCo still has it's share, but I agree, it's time to hang up the stuff, concentrate on deer.
Happy Holidays to everyone.

There are still keepers (holdovers) and lots of smalls on the north side. You have to work a little, but if you get a nice warm day, you can have some good action and have a blast in Nov & Dec. And more than likely, you'll have the spots to yourself.

S n' S, at least you put the effort in. Remember that fishing is funny in that the number of fish you catch usually goes up in accordance with the amount of time you put in. Hopefully the fishing gods will reward you with a good season next year.

Did you march all the way to the left at Chapin? We all get the skunk now and again, but like everybody says, put time in and you will be rewarded.
