Let's not get carried away just yet. Just to keep it in perspective:

They play in a crappy division. They got to play the worst division in the AFC in interconference play, the AFC West. The best team they've played so far are the Broncos and they took GB into O/T. They also beat the Eagles by a FG and the Redskins by a FG, and outside of the NFC East, their other NFC games were the Panthers, who started a QB almost as old as me, and the Rams who can't beat anyone. They've played the softest schedule so far of any division leader in the whole NFL. They have the Rams and the Raiders among their remaining opponents, as well as the 'Boys, the Bears and a rematch with the Lions in Lambeau.

So when they finish 14-2, keep their schedule in mind.

They still look better than almost all the other teams in the league? Favre has thrown more passes with less INT's than any other season in his career....he is razor sharp and a sharp razor is dangerous! He is a proven winner and their team, regardless of their soft schedule, should not be underestimated!

Other than the Pats, what AFC teams look better than either the Cowboys or the Pack right now?

The Steelers who somehow found a way to lose to the Jets last week?

The Colts with all of their injuries, two losses in a row and who fell into a 10-0 hole against the Falcons--the freaking FALCONS????--tonight?

You used to hear about all of these up and coming AFC QBs--Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers, Vince Young and so on. How are they doing lately?

Compared to, say, Romo? Or Leinart in Arizona before he got hurt? Even Eli Manning is having a better year than Rivers and making the Giants look better for making the trade.

We'll find out if they're for real next Thursday when they take on the Cowboys. I personally think the Cowboys will be the pats superbowl opponent. TO can make it to the Superbowl again and be beaten by the pats...again. but we will see.

Romo looked very beatable yesterday and the Cowboy's secondary is weak.If Favre has any kind of time in the pocket,he should be able to air it out... I soooo want a Pats/Green Bay rematch in the SB....
P.S. Bryant Gumbal still sucks as an NFL announcer.

i like brett "liter cola" favre. i love his interviews. and the plastic turkey thing he got last night was great. very funny to see his facial expressions during the interview.

looking forward to watching him play dallas. most likely will be more exciting than any of the future pats games this year besides another potential colts game and/ or superbowl.

the packers looked good but even on a good day they are still no match for the Hateriots:humpty:
If they managed to make it all the way and meet us in the Big Game it would be a filp of the 1997 game,we'd run the table and not to mention the score would be so high it would brake the score board:eek5:

Pats= 19-0

Pat's are the best I have seen all year. Dallas-Romo gets it done but can be and has been beaten by PATS.

Packers best in NFC.

As amazing as Favre has been it is his receivers that are doing it (along with their defense against mediocre teams). I have never seen better concentration i.e look the ball into the hands and catch it before they run, than the Packers receivers have shown. Of course the one or 2 times Moss has dropped a ball, NEXT play catch and TD for Pats.

ENJOY THIS SEASON PATS FANS-IT IS MAGICAL- LIKE A WONDERFUL BLITZ.
