Thats a lot of energy. Saltheart 11-24-2007, 06:08 PM wow , that seems high to me. For 13 years my business was in the where the Ownes Corning fiberglass melt facility use to be. There was a huge (size of a swimming pool) frozen pool of glass upstairs inside a furnace. . When they left they just picked up and moved out , left behind almost all the stuff except the paltinum screens used to form the molten glass into the fibers. tattoobob 11-24-2007, 06:30 PM I need to do my attic I was told it was just as much to have a company do it then to buy it and do it my self? capesams 11-24-2007, 06:49 PM insulation co. can buy it and install it, cheaper then you can buy it most of the time...just went through it. basswipe 11-24-2007, 07:00 PM 3.5 X 15,,,,88.5 sq',,,, $ 31.73 a roll ,,, I gotta get out more What grade?R13,R19 etc..Faced or unfaced?Rolls or batts? All these things matter when considering price.
