Game delayed, they layed new turf OVER old turf 48 hours ago, downpour, tarp leaked, two turfs wont drain, they're using pitchforks to help drainnage, repainting field, I mean spraypainting the standing water........ WTF Wonder if this gets cancelled for unplayable conditions or injury prevention.

Ricky Williams is gonna think he's tripping!

Thunder & lightning had ESPN crews running for cover.
I say Ricky Williams will spark up his bong at half time !

Hmmm--you think it occurred to them to check the long range weather forecast before putting down new turf?

Whatever happened to our resident Steelers' fan, Vectorfisher, by the way

I think his future Superbowl hopes were killed in Worthlessburgers motorcycle accident!:jester: Either that or the fact that the Patriots are just crushing all who come along and after the Steelers lose to the hapless Dolphins tonight are gonna have to try to stem the rising tide of an undefeated Patriots season in a couple weeks!:jester::jester:

Has to be the messiest, ugliest, muddiest, most poorly played and most meaningless game I have ever seen!:rollem:

I'm not sure you can draw any conclusions from a game played in a virtual swamp :hs:

It was painful to watch.

My favorite was the punt that landed on the pointy end of the ball and went half the length of the ball into the mud, and watching the Dolphin coverage guy fall on his ass trying to down it. The ref wasn't sure whether to blow it dead on the spot, or wait to see whether anyone on the Steelers was dumb enough to try to dig the ball out and return it :rotf2:

me too. that was classic! :rotfl:

IMHO those conditions were a total embarrassment to the Steelers organization. What a joke.:tm:

All in all,I'm very unimpressed with the Steelers, and not just going by last night's "game".

I think a lot of their recent support came after they took apart the Ravens on MNF a few weeks back. Up until then, most people in the area didn't get a chance to see their games. We actually get a better look at the NFC here than the other AFC teams because Fox is the NFC channel and they always give us a double-header. Channel 4 often doesn't show a second AFC game even when the Pats aren't playing.

It wasn't clear 3-4 weeks ago exactly how much the Ravens suck this year--now it is ;)
