Ok whats the best ramp for me to use in this area I would like to start to fish CCBay area and also find it better down that way as most of the time I think you could still fish it in a 15 kt ssw wind and still be in good water as in BBBay you just get beat up in the same wind? I trailer a 21' seaswirl dual consel and any help would be great. I have been told that Sandwich Marina has a good public ramp is this so? Thanks for any ideas and help. GB

Greg Sandwich is great, double ramp and not very crowded this time of year. The bay is fine with SW winds and if it calms its not a bad run to P-Town. Got my biggest stripers this year a short ride from the ramp.

I am also interested in fishing this area and using the Sandwich boat ramp, can somebody give me directions from let's say rte. 195 in RI? Does this ramp get super crowded? I heard the Tuna fishing is fantastic right now out that way, how long of a boat ride is it to Cape Cod Bay area?

Thanks guys I will take a ride down this week and check it out. 179 its olny about a 1/2 mile ride to CCBay from the landing if that. And from there its only a 21 mile ride to P-Town. I will give you directions later but its an easy ride. I was out that way last weekend we went through the canal and saw it as we rode by. It looked like a great place to launch. And the bay was calm near shore in the 15kt ssw winds .

179 the ramp is less than a mile through the canal to CC Bay. There are lots of tuna around "footballs" and giants but not alot of guys are landing them. There are big schools of peanut bunker that the blues, bass and tuna are feeding on. Look for the birds! If anybody wants some more info drop me a PM. Ramp is nuts during the summer but not bad now.
